Quicksilver was recently purchased by Steve Roberson and Lamont Richie, who now own and operate the gallery with the able assistance of Jude Farar, Brian Watson, and Alannah Massey. The gallery opened in 1991 and has been in its present location since 1997. We feel like we provide an intriguing collection of artforms and artifacts in a friendly, comfortable environment of affordable excellence.
Quicksilver represents the artwork of approximately sixty artists, some of whom live right here in Eureka Springs. Their work includes limited edition watercolors, pencil drawings, unique smoke drawings, photographs, jewelry, pottery, bronze sculptures, woodcarvings, wind chimes, and musical instruments such as drums, flutes, rattles, and freenotes. All the artwork is created by individual artists working at home or in their own studios.

Eureka Springs, a small community known for its artisans and for its healing waters and scenic Ozark mountain beauty, is one of the most interesting and unique towns in the country. The historic downtown is perched along the sides of wooded hills and draws a million and a half visitors from all over the country each year even though the local population is less than 2000.
Located at the intersection of Hwy. 23 and 62, just 10 miles from the Missouri border, Eureka Springs is only one hour south of Branson, Mo., or one hour east of Fayetteville, home of the University of Arkansas. Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport is about an hour and fifteen minutes of scenic country highways. Tulsa, Oklahoma, is only three hours from Eureka Springs and Springfield, Missouri, is only a two hour ride.
Quicksilver is easy to find once you get to town. As you enter Eureka on Hwy. 23, turn up Spring Street and pass by the quaint shops, galleries, and restaurants that line the street. When you come to the sharp left turn just past the New Orleans Hotel you will see Quicksilver Gallery right there on the corner . As they say, "You can't miss it."
